Dr. Pierre Picchetti's research work appeared in Chemistry of Materials

Dr. Pierre Picchetti, in collaboration with his Ph.D. supervisor Prof. Luisa De Cola, has authored an article in the virtual collection "The Future of Healthcare Materials" by the journal "Chemistry of Materials". Their research article showcases the development of a novel light-cleavable bis-alkoxysilane linker for creating mesoporous organosilica particles. These particles can be completely degraded upon UV light exposure, enabling the encapsulation and controlled release of various molecules, including biologically significant provitamin D3.
